Rancho Del Lago, located in McDade, Texas (approximately 35 miles east of Austin), welcomed five beautiful foals this spring, 2 purebred fillies and one colt, 1 half Andalusian/ half Haflinger filly and one Azteca colt. Over the past few months, despite the heat, we have been very, very busy! We hosted our 12th annual clinic, competed at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, attended a Working Equitation clinic, participated in a Peter Madison Greenwell dressage clinic, competed at an open USDF dressage show, and plan to attend the first Region 5 Championships this Labor Day weekend. We have a new working student, Natalie Katalenas, who was born in Spain and is totally passionate about the Iberian horse. We welcome her as our new amateur rider. She recently finished her undergraduate work and plans to apply to vet school in the near future. We invite you to visit our web site: www.ranchodellago.net
