
The IALHA Recreational Rider Program is underway,
All you need is an IALHA registered horse, time to ride and an IALHA Recreational Rider Log Sheet! Why not get credit for doing what you love, whether it is trail-riding, endurance, or riding with friends. You don’t need to show your horse to win awards. We have awards for 100 hours, 250 hours and more!
Once you've signed up, send us a photo of you and your horse riding. We'll post it here on the website and Facebook. Check out the forms below, or email Lisa Janke at:

Step 1 : REGISTER
Registration Form Not interactive at this time, so please mail it or scan it and email it to RecRider@IALHA.org Your registration anytime forward in 2013 runs through December 2014.
Step 2:RIDE AND LOG YOUR TIME
Recreational Rider Log Keep your records until you have met one of the award levels.

What counts?
Trailriding, actual saddle time, organized rides, arena training or practice, riding with friends, jumping, dressage, working equitation preparation, reining work, cattle work, pleasure riding, parades, demonstrations.
What doesn't count?
Lessons, clinics, shows, competitions,
Step 3. WIN AN AWARD
Currently we are in the process of designing new awards for the Recreational Rider Program.
LEVELS
All level winners will get certificates, recognition on the website and in an issue of the Andalusian Magazine. Photos on the websie and a small prize or award to display, depending on the level.
100 Hour Award
250 Hour Award ( accumulative)
500 Hour (accumulative)
Platinum Recreational Rider Award ( any 100 mark over 500..receives a nice trophy)
